Terms of service

1. About these terms

These terms cover your use of Grumpy Pixels SEO (the "portal"), an SEO campaign platform run by Grumpy Pixels ("we", "us"). By signing in or accepting an invitation you agree to them. If you use the portal for a company, you agree on its behalf.

If your organisation has a signed service agreement with us or with the agency that invited you, that agreement comes first wherever it differs from these terms.

2. The service

The portal shows search and website performance for a client's website, alongside recommendations, a record of work done, and reports. Data comes from connected sources such as Google Analytics and from what agency staff enter.

3. Accounts

• Access is by invitation. An administrator decides which workspaces you can open and can change or remove your access.
• Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what is done under your account.
• Use your own name and a working email address, and tell your administrator if you think someone else has used your account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• open, or try to open, a workspace or data you have not been given access to;
• share your sign-in or let another person use your account;
• probe, overload, scrape or disrupt the portal, or get around its security or rate limits;
• upload anything unlawful, or anything you have no right to share;
• copy, resell or reverse engineer the portal.

5. Connected Google accounts

When you connect a Google account to a workspace, you confirm that you are allowed to share that account's Google Analytics data with the people who can open the workspace. The portal reads the data; it never changes anything in Google. You can disconnect at any time from the workspace's Settings. What is accessed and how it is handled is set out in the privacy policy.

6. Your data

Data about a client's website belongs to that client. You give us permission to store and process it to run the portal for the people who have access to that workspace. We do not claim ownership of it.

7. Reports and recommendations

Figures in the portal come from third parties such as Google and can be late, sampled, revised or missing. Recommendations and reports are professional opinion based on that data. They are not a promise of rankings, traffic or revenue, and search engines change their results without notice.

8. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the portal available but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or free of errors. We may change, add or remove features, and may suspend the portal for maintenance or security.

9. Our content

The portal's software, design and name belong to Grumpy Pixels. These terms give you a right to use the portal while you have access, and nothing more.

10. Suspending or ending access

You can stop using the portal at any time and ask for your account to be removed. We or your administrator may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if the engagement the workspace belongs to ends, or if the security of the portal requires it.

11. Liability

The portal is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we give no warranties beyond those in these terms, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, lost data or decisions made on the basis of the data shown. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and the courts of Malaysia have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.

13. Changes to these terms

When these terms change we update this page and the date at the top. Using the portal after a change means you accept the updated terms.
